A day after playing Arlene's Grocery in NYC, the whole band decided to visit the Strawberry Fields memorial in NYC's Central Park in honour of what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday. All day long, people brought flowers and laid them in from of John's old apartment building, the Dakota, to pay their respects. And even more amazing, throughout the day, thousands of people of all ages visited the Strawberry Fields Memorial and sang Beatles songs for hours on end, remembering the impact that one man had on the whole world. It was quite a thing to see.
